Meal Program
Welcome Patriots to the 2023-2024 school year. We are happy to provide a variety of nutritious, appealing, and good tasting food to our MALC family of students. The number one goal of the food service staff is the safety of our students as well as our workers. We know good nutrition is a vital part of your children’s school performance, so we will put forth every effort to provide them with nutritional meals while meeting Federal and State requirements.

The meal prices are as follows:

Parents you can make online payments: Monitor your student’s meal accounts by registering at: www.myschoolbucks.com
It is your parental responsibility to ensure that your child has money for his/her meals. Money left in accounts will carry over to the next year, unless you request a refund. A keypad entry system is used where students will enter their own student ID # to purchase their meals.
Checks: We accept personal checks paid to Mohave Accelerated. Checks returned by the bank to the cafeteria are subject to a returned check fee of $25.00. All returned checks not paid within the allotted time are turned over to the County Attorney for collection.
FREE & REDUCED APPLICATIONS: A new application must be submitted every year. Once the new application has been processed, the new status will take effect immediately. The applications from the previous school year (2021-22) will remain in effect for the first 30 operating days. If a new application has not been received within that time frame, the student will be placed on a full pay status and all charges incurred will be the responsibility of the parents. Parents will be notified by letter to inform them if they were approved for free/reduced lunch.
