Parents and Students,
Both campuses of Mohave Accelerated Schools have been closed for the remainder of the school year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Students are continuing to work from home, either online or through packets.
After Thursday, April 9th, the offices on the Main Campus will be closed. Drop-off bins will be made available for schoolwork from April 13th - 30th (Monday - Thursday, 9am - 3pm). The East Campus office will be open on Thursdays only for schoolwork to be dropped off.
PLEASE NOTE: Thursday, April 9th will be the last day to pick up schoolwork. Thursday, April 30th will be the last day to drop off schoolwork. There will be a 4th quarter grade given for all students, so it is important that you are completing and turning in assignments.
High School Graduation and Prom have not been cancelled. The graduation ceremony will take place outdoors on The Battlefield, but the scheduled date for both events will remain flexible based on government restrictions. 8th Grade Promotion will occur during Freshman Orientation, when we return in August. Kinder Graduation will also be moved to August, most likely on the first day of school. More details will come after we get through April. All other field trips and events have been cancelled for the remainder of the school year.
All athletes participating in the Spring season are being asked to turn in their uniforms now. Seniors will receive a check for reimbursement. All other athletes will receive a credit towards next year's sports fees.
We understand that this has been a trying time for everyone, but we appreciate your patience as we work to continue educating our students. Thank you, parents, for your support and encouragement. Thank you, students, for all your hard work!
Our mission as a school is to use community partnership, technology, and gifted educators to provide a nurturing learning environment which will empower students to identify their own unique strengths and talents to achieve academic excellence and later success in life.
